Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika optional, for extra flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese, honey, or maple syrup optional

Instructions

  • Trim the ends and remove any damaged outer leaves from the Brussels sprouts. Slice each Brussels sprout in half lengthwise.
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. (You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer).
  • Cook the Brussels sprouts for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the Brussels sprouts are crispy and golden.
  • Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish, and sprinkle them with grated Parmesan cheese cheese—or—drizzle the Brussels sprouts with honey or maple syrup, if desired, to serve.

Notes

For extra crispiness, try adding an extra minute or two of cook time. If you like a touch of sweetness, drizzle a bit more balsamic vinegar or add a dash of honey or maple syrup after cooking.
